Trip to the Zoo

The students took a field trip to the zoo last week. Although the weather was cold, it was a great adventure for all of them! They got to see birds, elephants, giraffes, chimpanzees, bears, and many more. They also got to go into the children's zoo area where they got to pet and brush the goats. They had a great time!

First Best in Show Fall 2014

We had out first best in show for the kids at Woodview today. The students that showed good behavior, following instructions, or were caught doing something well, were given paws by other teachers. These paws are collected and then used once a month at a "Best in Show" celebration. The kids love it and it gives them a chance to get rewarded for their good behavior. Goooo Beagles!!!

Science

I love how much the kids have enjoyed leaning about the moon, sun, and space. We set up a space station in the dramatic play center so the kids can pretend like they are astronauts. They have so much fun! In science, we leaned about the sun and moon so we integrated it into dramatic play as well.

Field Day

The students and staff got to enjoy the great weather and participate in the annual field day. The children participated in activities such as hoola-hooping, obstacles, balancing, and races.
